With more than 600 employees WBS TRAINING AG operates more than 100 branch offices all over Germany. WBS provides vocational education and training for adults promoted by public national authorities, but also business training for companies and European training projects. The range of topics is very wide: from ICT trainings (e.g. SAP, AutoCAD) to management trainings, from automation and renewable energies to health and social care. Therefore, WBS TRAINNIG AG is one of the most important independent vocational training and service providers in Germany.

WBS has a wide and active network – it cooperates with about 1400 freelance trainers and works together with many companies, which are important partners for the organisation of the WBS’ learners’ internships.

Since 2011, WBS also uses the possibilities of web-based learning for a wide range of courses. The WBS branch office Dresden-North, for example, offers about 50 different trainings in various professions.

Since 2004, WBS is active as a hosting institution in the scope of the Lifelong Learning Programme – Leonardo da Vinci mobilities (IVT, VETPRO, PLM). Over the years the WBS has completed more than 100 of these mobility projects. The main topics of these projects were technical, such as: web design, ICT-networking, AutoCAD, PLC programming (Siemens Logo!) and renewable energies. Other training project topics were concerned with the German educational and vocational system, Business Start-up, advertisement and first Aid. Thanks to its wide network of freelance trainers, WBS can offer various trainings in the German or English language.

Furthermore, WBS organizes internship placements in the fields of engineering, tourism/gastronomy, health care, logistics and agriculture.

Most of the mobility projects were hosted by the WBS branch office Dresden-North. Since 2014 the team at the WBS Dresden is the WBS “Competence center for mobility projects” (CCM). The European project team in Dresden has acquired a high level of expertise in implementation of mobility projects. It has good contacts to suppliers of accommodation and catering as well as to cultural institutions in the region. This will ensure smooth and high quality implementation of all future mobility projects. The CCM will also organize projects at other selected WBS branch offices.

WBS has many years of experience in business study courses for various target groups and offers a broad portfolio of trainings. Topics include accounting, marketing, office management, logistics, human resources management, business software applications (e.g. SAP, Microsoft office) and many more.

Within the frame of Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus+ mobility projects, WBS already has successfully completed more than 15 for business related topics.
