Internship of our students in WBS TRAINING AG Dresden, Germany 15-28 November 2015 a group of students from our school participated in their internship in our partner company WBS TRAINING AG Dresden, Germany. Interesting program of their staying included a visit to Dresden airport, harbor, HEGE Pharmaceutical Wholesale, Transparent Manufactory of Volkswagen, Logistics Centre of German Parcel Services of the ‘Deutsche Post’. The students completed a training programme in the field of logistics at the premises of WBS in Dresden. They also participated in different field trips and cultural visits, improved their English proficiency and got in contact with the German culture and language.To prepare final presentations on logistics topics students formed working groups. They worked hard preparing their PowerPoint presentations. The last training day the students successfully gave their presentations to their peers, teacher, trainer and WBS staff. Extra attractions were sightseeing of Dresden; as ‘a must ‘ it was visiting a beautiful Zwinger Palace, Old Town, The Theatre Square, the Semper Opera House; Technical Museum, Military Museum; a trip to Berlin- German Parliament, Brandenburg Gate, Eastside Gallery- the remains of Berlin Wall, Alexanderplatz, Pergamon Museum, Holocaust Memorial, Borough of the former Nazi headquarter/ Checkpoint Charly- these are some of the most important elements of the trip.
